2012 Radko Christmas Ornament - Fleur de Liberty
 “Fleur-de-Liberty” is eighth edition in the Kentucky Derby Festival’s Radko ornament series and features a red, white and blue color scheme on a silver fleur-de-lis design. A yellow ribbon adorns the ornament, with “ Louisville, Kentucky” and “2012 Derby Festival” painted on the side. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of “Fleur-de-Liberty” ornaments will be donated to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation for Medal of Honor recipient Sgt Dakota Meyer’s $1 Million Challenge to raise $1 million by the Foundation’s 50th anniversary on May 28, 2012. "Bell of Louisville" is a new limited edition Christopher Radko ornament, created to commemorate the 2007 Derby Festival. The collectible ornament is a holiday elf in the shape of a bell. The ornament is a whimsical nod to Louisville’s historic paddle-wheeler, which participates in the Derby Festival’s Great Steamboat Race each year. The ornaments are made of hand-blown glass and are individually hand-painted in Radko’s European workshop. |
